Deunta Lamar Blakemore

Mr. Deunta’ Lamar Blakemore, 25, departed from his earthly home on January 30, 2018 at his residence in Whitehall, AR. He was a God-fearing man.

Deunta’ was born May 12, 1992 in Magnolia, AR to his parents Gaylon A. Blakemore, Jr. and Veronica P. Watso

Deunta’ was a graduate of Crossett High School, class of 2011. He also graduated from the Arkansas Career Training Institute “ACTI”, class of 2015, with a degree in welding.
He was an employee of Tyson’s Foods in Whitehall, AR where he worked in the Pack-out department.

Those left to cherish Deunta’s memories are: His mother, Veronica P. Watson-Edwards, and His step father, James S. Edwards of Whitehall, AR. His father Gaylon A. Blakemore Jr. of Magnolia, AR. His paternal grandparents, Dorothy Bishop and Clarence Wise of Magnolia, AR. His daughter, Peyton Mercedes Grace Blakemore of Whitehall, AR. The love of his life, his fiancé, Crystal Lucero Tapia of Whitehall, AR. His sisters Kymyara S. L. Hill of Whitehall, AR and Jasmine L. Gibson of Monroe, LA. His brothers Justen T. Blakemore of Whitehall, AR, Jymes J. Williams of Bastrop, LA, and Joshua D. Hickman of Dollarway, AR. Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M at the First Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018  from 1 until 7 at the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
