Arvell Howell, Jr. was born October 20, 1975 to Arvell Sr. and the late Martha(White)Howell in  Fort Knox, KY.  God blessed “Junior” with 40 years of joy, happiness and maybe some pain. He was a lovable, bubbly person and had many friends that loved him so. He was always funny and full of joy. He was a military kid and traveled to many states with his family. In California his friends called him “black” because of his smooth black skin color. He always said “I’m the handsome one in the family.’ He was one in a million! He finally made residency in San Antonio, TX where he spent his last years.

His memories will always be cherished by: His parents: Arvell Sr.(Minnie) Howell of Rio Vista, CA; One daughter: Alexus Howell and granddaughter Kamilah Howell of Liberty, TX; One son: Omari Howell of Freeport, TX; Two brothers: Scotty (Rochelle)Howell of Salt Lake City, UT and Rodney Howell of Dallas TX; One sister: Necole(Billy) Howell Jones of Fairfield, CA, 3 nephews: Terron Howell, Billy Jones III, Theron Howell all of California. 3 nieces: Eboni Jones of Houston, TX, Ashari Jones and Angela Jones of Fairfield, CA.  One uncle: Lucious Daniels, Five aunts: Charlie Henry, Sara White, Clarieth Lumsey, Juanita Daniels, and Ollie Howell Thorton. Many cousins and friends from Arkansas to Germany. 

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Urbana, AR.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 11:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
